O supervisório foi desenvolvido para esse projeto na linguagem PHP, executando remotamente em uma máquina servidora. No servidor também é implementado um mestre Modbus TCP/IP desenvolvido em linguagem Java. O armazenamento de informações é realizado em banco de dados SQL, disponibilizando os dados para o sistema de supervisão. O hardware de coleta dos dados do barramento Modbus RTU, foi concebido em uma placa de circuito impresso, onde estão dispostos o microcontrolador e os circuitos, tanto de alimentação, como os utilizados para comunicação entre o microcontrolador e o barramento. Para enviar as informações dos geradores, são utilizados sockets com as informações no protocolo Modbus TCP/IP, utilizando uma rede IEEE 802.11. O sistema desenvolvido foi validado com ensaios em um gerador de energia elétrica, que é apresentado neste trabalho.
